Founded in 2006 by filmmakers Josh Lowell (Big UP Productions) and Peter Mortimer (Sender Films), the REEL ROCK Film Tour brings the best climbing and adventure films of the year to live audiences throughout the world.
The official lineup for this year's film will be released soon. One feature will include Margo Hayes's glass ceiling shattering acsent of La Rambla.
This year's screening in Providence is brought to you by the Ladies Climbing Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting and empowering women through climbing. The event is also a fundraiser for the RI AMC, and a raffle with awesome gear will take place during intermission. Additional local sponsors are still being confirmed and will be announced soon.
