Founded in 2006 by filmmakers Josh Lowell (Big UP Productions) and Peter Mortimer (Sender Films), the REEL ROCk Film Tour brings the best climbing and adventure films of the year to live auidiences throughout the world.
In its landmark 10th year, REEL ROCK 10 features athletes Tommy Caldwell, Kevin Jorgeson, Alex Honnold, Jimmy Webb, Daniel Woods, and a special tribute to the late Dean Potter. This year's tour boasts an eclectic program that will get you psyched!
This is a special year in Providence, as it will be the first time the event is held at an establishment where you may enjoy a beer while watching your favorite atheletes display their enthusiam and badass talents.
Proceeds from the events are being donated to Rock Type 1, a "nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those with type 1 diabetes through exercise and education."
There will be a raffle with some rad prizes to benefit the climbing community of RI.
